The team at Softwine Market runs Softwine Market. Below is meta-journal documenting the activities of the market team.

Eli Goodman

Eli is the team analyst. New ideas are run by him. He quickly picks up on a new idea, articulates it, reformulates it, transforms it, and analyzes it from multiple angles. In a sense he manages a machine shop for new ideas, making prototype concepts that are then run in factory production discussions.

David Weil
The Weil Group

David is founder of Paca Summit, a maker of organic Merino wool clothing. Paca Summit is one of the outside companies that Softwine Market promotes through the MoCo Co-op. David advises the team on how to promote Paca Summit and the other companies here.

Joe Orlow
Market Manager

Joe is the market manager. He is in charge of the market. He plans market activities.

His role involves networking people together. The idea is to keep the channels of information open through this website, social media, live and recorded audio and video, email, texting, as well as the phone.

There’s been some talk here about setting a Softwine Market standard for the products we promote. I’d like to call this standard “thegan”. The word “gan” means garden in Hebrew, so “the gan” standard would be our growing and manufacturing standard keeping in line with the directive in Genesis to Adam to “work and guard” the garden, that is, to produce without destroying.

Here’s an article from ModernFarmer.com about standards. Warning: some coarse language.
